ABOUT MY MUSIC

For my entire life, I've written songs, even though I had no formal music training. Melodies came naturally to me, and with my affinity toward language, songwriting felt like the perfect fit for a creative outlet. Ten years ago, my parents gave me a guitar for Christmas, and it enchanted me beyond belief; I felt more connected to my art with my new ability to channel my creative energy into song, complete with musical arrangements.

NOT FOR NOTHING BY CORI HARTWIG

Featuring ten original songs written when I was sixteen years old, I released Not For Nothing on April 29, 2016–three years after I finished writing the songs. With mellow melodies and vulnerable lyricism, Not For Nothing follows the ups and downs of a relationship and all of the emotions that come along with it.

LP #2 Artwork will be revealed shortly and feature work by visual artist Jordan Kady.

LP #2: hunger.

Currently, I'm recording my second full-length original album, hunger. The album will be produced by Hunter Lewis and feature embroidery by Jordan Kady as the cover art. It will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and all other streaming services.
